NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ON – November 3, 2017
Two new co-owners are taking the helm at Genaire Limited, a Niagara-based aerospace manufacturer and repair service provider, making it a third-generation company.
Located at Niagara District Airport in Niagara-on-the-Lake, family-owned Genaire has spent almost 70 years providing manufacturing services as well as repair and overhaul services to the aerospace industry around fuel cells, ground support equipment, radomes, twin otter wheel skis and unit load devices such as ULD’s and pallets for both commercial and military customers.
New changes will see brother and sister team Melissa and Chris Warner take positions as Chief Executive Officer and Operations Manager, respectively. After over 15 years in the business as employees, they purchased the company from the previous shareholders.
“We are very excited to be taking over the reins at Genaire and thrilled at these changes,” said Melissa Warner. “Generations of the Warner/Wooll family have dedicated their lives to building and maintaining Genaire’s status as a family-owned business serving the Niagara region and beyond. We’re honoured to continue this tradition as we explore opportunities to diversify our customer base and grow the company.”
While customers will see changes in ownership and management, most of Genaire’s dedicated staff will remain in their current roles at the company.
The Warners look forward to continuing to serve the industry. “We’re eager to continue the tradition and build on our success in 2018 and beyond,” said Chris Warner. “We’re strategically implementing a plan that will help us leverage our skills, focus our efforts and provide even better service to our customer base. We want to continue with the high-quality standards our family started 70 years ago and see what other opportunities we can take advantage of in the future.
