Genaire is an approved repair facility for all makes and models of bladder type aircraft fuel cells, including rubber construction, Viathane, Nitril, crash resistant and self-sealing.
Our facility is climate controlled with a state-of-the-art air make-up system, where we not only repair aircraft fuel cells, but warehouse them for both Military and civilian customers.
All repairs are carried out by our certified Aircraft Fuel Cell Technicians using repair and overhaul procedures set out by OEM’s.

FUEL CELL STORAGE AND MANAGEMENT
Genaire offers a full-service storage and maintenance package for Aircraft fuel cells to both Military and Civilian customers.
Fuel Cells are stored in our climate-controlled facility to ensure that they are always in optimal conditions while warehoused.
Fuel cells are inspected on a yearly basis and inhibited if required to ensure they remain in fully serviceable condition. This is proven to increase the viability and longevity of rubberized cells.
Storing fuel cells at Genaire also cuts expensive shipping costs while still maintaining access to serviceable aircraft fuel cells at a moment’s notice.
We can typically ship same day or next day for priority requirements, based on carrier availability.
This specialized program provides our customers peace of mind that they will always receive a fully serviceable tank when one is required and that the remainder of their assets are being managed and kept in the best possible conditions until they are needed.

Inspections & On-Site Testing
Genaire Limited uses a variety of ways to test for fuel cell leaks including self-sealing and crash resistant fuel cells performed by certified Fuel Cell Technicians. These include the following:
- Vacuum Phenolphthalein Testing
- Gas Stand Testing
- Pressure Tests (Soap test)
- Specialized Genaire-developed testing methods
Testing, Repairs and Inspections of fuel cells are carried out using the following OEM specified repair manuals:
- Amfuel
- Engineered Fabric
- Firestone
- Goodyear
- Uniroyal
Genaire is the authorized Amfuel repair facility in Canada.
Genaire provides a full-service approach not only repairing unserviceable tanks but providing ongoing maintenance and inspection requirements for warehoused fuel cells for companies such as:
